Chairperson Lcv handing over stamps to SAS and Chairperson Kigambo Sub Couty

Today 15th March 2021 Kyegegwa District local government launched the distribution of LCI and LCII stamps at the District headquarters.

 The function has been officiated by the District Chairperson Mr. Byamukama John Kisoke and the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Ms. Katusabe Beatrice who submitted the stamps to Senior Assistant Secretaries for sub counties and sub county chairpersons who will distribute them to chairpersons’ local council II and II in sub counties.

These are Standardized stamps by the ministry of local government for substantive local council I and local council II in the district.

 The stamps are made and supplied by Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC).

Local Council I and Local Council II have been prioritized for the first bunch of the supply. The chairpersons of the Councils to receive the stamps are required to submit their current stamps to the district for archiving. The Deputy Chief Administrative warned Chairpersons against misuse of these stamps which are a government property.  The District Chairperson said that the new local councils will get stamps when they start operating.
